Why Antigua & Barbuda

Antigua & Barbuda’s Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP) was passed into law in 2014 as part of the Citizenship by Investment Act.

No language requirements

Dual citizenship is permitted

Include spouse, dependent children under 30 years of age, dependent parents and grandparents over 55 years of age, and unmarried siblings

Investment criteria

To qualify for citizenship, the main applicant must choose one of the following four investment options:

Option 1

Minimum Invistment – $230,000

National Development Fund (NDF)

Investors under this option are required to make a non-refundable payment of $230,000
to the NDF

Option 2

Minimum Invistment – $260,000

Higher Education: University of the West Indies Fund (UWI Fund)

A family of six or more under this option may receive citizenship through a minimum investment of
$260,000 into the UWI Fund

Option 3

Minimum Invistment – $300,000

Approved Real Estate Investment

A minimum investment of $300,000 USD or $200,000 each by two related parties is required into one of the
CBI approved projects.

Option 4

Minimum Invistment – $400,000

Business Establishment

Investors receive citizenship following the investment of $1.5 million USD into an approved business.
Each investor is required to contribute at least $400,000 with a total of $5 million USD.
